Soaring Towards Success
Our Soaring Toward Success Tutoring Program offers tutoring opportunities for students throughout the area, giving children at least a three-month-long tutoring program to help sustain confidence and success throughout the school year. This program also covers school supplies, books, and study materials to help kids succeed. If you are a teacher or have tutoring experience, we need you.
Senior Pictures
In recognition of the achievements of foster care youth, we are committed to celebrating this significant milestone. We need photographers to do senior portraits to achieve this, ensuring that this accomplishment is always remembered. If you’re a photographer and want to take senior pictures, please complete the application below.
Haircut Vouchers
Every child and student should feel confident and empowered when attending school. We’re proud to offer our “Haircuts for Kids” program. This initiative provides eligible children in foster care with complimentary vouchers for haircuts each year. We are currently searching for experienced barbers who can work with all hair types and styles.
Clothing Closet Professional Organizer
FHF relies on community donations to sustain its Clothing Closet, enabling children in foster care or those who have been adopted to access essential items like clothing, shoes, diapers, wipes, and car seats. Do to our dedicated community and volunteers we have volunteers sort and manage the Clothing Closet donations. Come hang out with us in the office. Clothing Closet shifts are in one-hour increments.
