Q: I adopted my child. Can they still attend the event?
A: Yes, please have your child’s former caseworker’s name and Medicaid number.
Q: Can I sign my bio children up for the event?
A: This event is for children in foster care, adopted from foster care, and other children living in the foster home.
Q: Can I sign up my grandkids for this event?
A: Are they considered an out-of-home placement? If they qualify, they will have a caseworker’s name and Medicaid number.
Q: How do you register for the event?
A: Please follow the instructions and click on the link. Caregivers MUST HAVE CHILD’S CASEWORKER’S NAME AND MEDICAID NUMBER. Please note that registration will NOT be done over the phone. Please check your email and spam folders for confirmation you have registered for Winter Wonderland.
Q: I have more than five children. How do I sign them all up?
A: Please register your first five and then make a separate registration for the remaining children.
Q: Does the new venue have parking?
A: Parking will be on the bridge and in an underground parking ramp across from the venue.
The Families Helping Families Winter Wonderland Holiday Celebration will be on Saturday, December 16th, from 1-4 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building. This is a NEW location for 2023. This is a free event for children who are in foster care, adopted from foster care and other children currently living in the foster home. There will be cookies, hot cocoa, activity stations, and Santa, and each registered child can pick out a brand-new toy from Santa’s Workshop. Registration is required.
